Yohei Onishi

In March 2005, while still a student at Ritsumeikan University, Yohei Onishi established Y.B.O. as a sole proprietorship. Noticing the rapid growth of the mobile e-commerce market, he launched a mobile apparel e-commerce business. Continuously developing new business ideas, eventually established a unique “OMO model in the beauty industry,” which integrates online trials and brand awareness before transitioning to offline retail distribution. In March 2007, he incorporated the business, founding I-ne Co., Ltd.

Yoshinori Hara

Yoshinori Hara spent 15 years at Proctor & Gamble (P&G) before joining I-ne, where he gained diverse experience in various roles, including. business unit financial planning and analysis (FP&A), for P&G’s business divisions. He also served as financial management, and brand leadership at factories and business divisions.
During his 7.5-year tenure in Singapore, he led multinational teams in driving the business turnaround in Asian markets during his role as Asia Fabric Softener FP&A in 2015. Starting in 2020, he assumed the role of the second-in-command at P&G Japan Limited’s financial operations, with responsibilities for developing organizational structures and business strategy. After joining I-ne in June 2022, Hara led the team behind I-ne’s latest medium-term strategy, which was announced in February 2023. In April 2023, he took on the role of Operating Officer and General Manager of the Administration Division. Starting in January 2024, he will assume the role of Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as well as Head of the Finance & IT Division. He has also served in his current role as a Board Director since March 2024.

Outside Director

Hiroshi Sasamata

Hiroshi Sasamata has provided consulting services specializing in scenario planning, business strategy, international expansion, and mergers and acquisitions. He has been instrumental in helping the electricity, city gas, and related industries navigate regulatory reforms and the shift from low-carbon to decarbonization. His expertise extends to sectors such as oil and gas, equipment manufacturing, finance, and government.
Sasamata has also advised materials companies affected by technological innovations like the shale revolution and geopolitical changes. His work includes business strategy, scenario planning, and M&A support.
In addition, he has supported consumer goods companies with brand strategy, marketing, organizational reform, and operational improvement.
He served as a member of Japan’s Energy and Environment Council and the Demand-Supply Verification Committee, and from 2014 to 2016, he was a Specially Appointed Professor at Kyoto University. He has been on the board of I-ne since March 2022.

Ken Horikawa

After graduating from university, Ken Horikawa joined Nitto Denko Corporation. He then served in accounting and finance roles at Manpower Japan Co., Ltd., Ltd.Starbucks Coffee Japan, and Giorgio Armani Japan Co., Ltd. before joining POLA ORBIS HOLDINGS INC.in 2009.

From January 2012 to December 2016, Horikawa was responsible for the operations of POLA ORBIS HOLDINGS’ Management Planning Division, including formulating business strategies, mid-term plans, and budgets for the company’s corporate group. During this time, Horikawa played a key role in the company’s acquisition and post-merger integration of two cosmetics companies, one based in the USA and the other in Australia. Serving on the boards of both companies as a part-time Director, Horikawa assisted each company’s management with branding, marketing, and other business strategies. After becoming an Executive Officer in April 2016, Horikawa supervised management planning and finance until December 2016, after which he supervised finance, legal, and administrative operations while leading efforts to re-engineer business processes related to accounting and business management. During that time, he also served as a part-time Director and Auditor/Supervisor at a subsidiary.

Noriko Yamanaka

After graduating from university, Noriko Yamanaka joined the accounting firm Asahi & Co (now KPMG AZSA LLC) in 1998. In 2004, she joined Japan’s Financial Services Agency, where she worked at the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission. In 2006, she rejoined the accounting firm, which was then known as KPMG AZSA LLC. In 2012, Yamanaka joined Suntory Holdings Limited, where she worked in areas such as internal controls, accounting, and internal auditing, as well as post-merger integration and other forms of organizational transformation. In 2022, Yamanaka became an Auditor at Suntory subsidiary Pronto Corporation. She has served in her current role on the board of I-ne since March 2024.

Yuko Furumoto

After graduating from university, Yuko Furumoto joined Nippon Steel Corporation in 1986. In 1993, she enrolled in a Master of Laws program at Columbia Law School. In 1995, she became a member of the New York State Bar and joined Mitsubishi Corporation. During her time at Mitsubishi, she held several positions related toinvolving management of legal compliance management. In 2015, she joined the board of Kanro Inc. as an outside Ddirector. In 2019, she became an auditor/supervisor at Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences. She has served in her present role on the board of I-ne since March 2024.

Shoji Sugimoto

Shoji Sugimoto joined I-ne as its first employee in 2007, contributing to its growth.. Since then, Sugimoto has worked in sales promotion, was . pivotal in expanding I-ne’s distribution channels, establishedding the Tokyo Branch, and founded subsidiaries in Taiwan and Shanghai. In 2017, Sugimoto joined the Board of Directors, and. in 2018, he became General Manager of the Sales Division, driving I-ne’s rapid growth.
Around 2020, Sugimoto shifted his focus o towards cultivating leadership talent for the Business Promotion Division. He successfully in transferred responsibilities and developed the next generation of divisional leaders. In July 2022, leveraging his expertise in organizational development and talent cultivation, he became an Operating Officer responsible for talent management and. assumed the position Head of I-ne CULTURE BASE. Starting in January 2024, he will assume the role of Operating Officer and Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), as well as Head of the Global Office.

Raiki Fujioka

Raiki Fujioka joined I-ne in 2008. In 2015, Fujioka assumed the Head of Product Development role, where he dedicated his efforts to explordeveloping product concepts and expanding OEM partnerships. His contributions were pivotal in the remarkable in success of the botanical shampoo brand BOTANIST. After establishing the Marketing Division, Fujioka managed  various operations, including product development, supply chain management, promotions, and public relations.
Fujioka has played a crucial role in creating I-ne’s distinctive brand management system, IPTOS (I-ne Product and Brand Management System), which enables the introduction of numerous products into the market while minimizing risks. His efforts greatly contributed to the birth of hit products. In 2022, he became an Operating Executive Officer and General Manager of the Product Management Division. Starting in January 2024, he will assume the role of Operating Officer and Chief Product Officer (CPO), as well as Head of the Value Creation Lab Office.

Shoya Ito

Shoya Ito joined I-ne in 2011, focusing on e-commerce and digital brand strategy while overseeing in advertising and marketing expand into offline sales networks, including drugstores.
In 2017, Ito joined the Board of Directors and became Assistant General Manager of the Sales Promotion Division. In January 2022, Ito became an Operating Officer and General Manager of the Digital Marketing Division. Starting in January 2024, he will assume the role of Operating Officer and Chief Sales Officer (CSO).

Takashi Ueda

Prior to joining I-ne, Takashi Ueda spent approximately 12 years at Recruit Communications Co., Ltd. (now Recruit Co., Ltd.) . where he gained experience in developing self-owned media advertising, organizinging digital marketing campaigns, and nurturing new businesses.
In 2018, Ueda joined I-ne, primarily focusing on driving brand development before taking on a managerial role for brand management and promotion, in which he developed structures and processes for brand development and managed brand strategy. In 2022, Ueda assumed the position of Assistant General Manager for the Marketing Division. In 2023, he became an Operating Officer and General Manager of the Marketing Division. Starting in January 2024, he will assume the role of Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Asako Matsue

Asako Matsue previously worked at A.T. Kearney and Apple Inc. before launching her own consulting firm, Matsue engaged in numerous projects as a strategic consultant, from cost reduction, and process optimization to medium-term, and M&A strategies. She has also organized training programs for new hires. Since joining I-ne in 2021, Matsue has played vital roles in updating I-ne’s mission and vision, designing institutional structures, formatting and presenting the medium-term strategy, planning and executing the sustainability strategies, reforming the human resources systems, and driving corporate branding efforts. In 2022, Matsue became an Operating Officer and Head of the Corporate Planning Office. Starting in January 2024, she will assume the role of Operating Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer (CSuO), as well as Head of the Management Strategy Division.

Akira Hirayama

Akira Hirayama worked for an HR consultancy and other companies, before joined Recruit Communications (now Recruit Co., Ltd.). There, he took on a client-facing role delivering HR solutions and managed several to several dozen staff at the company’s Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo offices. He then joined Raksul Inc. and managed HR operations related to the company’s matching platform for logistics SaaS. He subsequently worked for Sony Group Corporation before joining I-ne in January 2023. In January 2024, he became General Manager of the HR Division. He has served as chief human resources officer (CHRO) since January 2025.

Emiko Hirayama

Emiko Hirayama previously worked for The P&G Japan Limited for 18 years. Having joined as a technical engineer, she became a project leader and led projects in China and elsewhere to introduce low-cost assembly lines and cut costs. After returning to Japan, she led projects related to numerous brands. These projects involved planning supply and demand and optimizing lead times. In 2018, she started managing customer services for all the company’s products destined for the Japanese market. In 2021, she transferred to sales. In that role, she developed and implemented a business plan for collaborating with big-name drugstores over the medium and long term, generating higher sales and profit growth for the company.
Hirayama joined I-ne in July 2023. At I-ne, she developed a process for aligning products’ supply and demand with the business plan. In January 2024, she became General Manager of the Supply Chain Management Division. In that role, she developed short-, medium-, and long-term plans for managing the supply chain processes from procurement of raw materials to delivery to the end consumer. Alongside this, she organizationally embedded such processes and enhanced organizational effectiveness. She has served as chief supply chain officer (CPSO) since January 2025.

Hajime Imai

Hajime Imai joined I-ne in 2008. He launched the company’s e-commerce business and established a team of in-house creatives dedicated to branding and marketing. Imai has focused on creating and nurturing brands, taking on various responsibiliti, including developing brand concepts, designing products, managing communications and promotional campaigns, and overseeing social media strategy.

Imai has served as a Director since 2017. In 2018, he was appointed Head of the Branding Division. In 2019, he took on the role of Executive at Endian, a joint venture with Coca-Cola (Japan) Company.
